Thank you so much for putting the election results on the website so quickly. We appreciate seeing the results here before almost anywhere else. Congratulations to all who ran and offered their services to the constituents of Hanley. This has been an election in which the voters actaully had an excellent group of individuals to choose from for their next council.
Congratulations and Good luck. We look forward to the next three years. Dale and Toni Chasmar

Yes, I attended the meeting on Monday night and was glad to receive some information on the local water situation. I believed that our water was always safe, however, the standards seem to have changed since Wakerton and North Battleford. That's good - more research equals more knowledge, and more safety.
Apparently Saskatoon treats their water with chlorine and ammonia = chloramination, which is better than what Hanley is doing(causing the formation of trihalomethanes). It would have been great to have this information in the local newsletter, then it would reach a greater number of individuals.
And one more thought, I do hope that the new pet bylaw will be re-evaluated and perhaps disposed of. This is a lovely community and the new bylaw is an annoyance and one more tax that is definitely not needed.
