Guess I’ll give golf another try even though I’m sure I won’t play any better. It’s nice to get out and walk in the sunshine and fresh air. Hope we have a good summer season weatherwise, but we all know Sask. weather can be pretty changeable. Oh well, it beats tornados — so far anyway.

Just got my computer turned on now, after I got home from coffee, so now I understand what you were telling me about at the cafe. I’d love to be that good a singer — I think it would be fun.
But I’m afraid I would probably be asked to leave after they heard my singing voice. I love music, but am not very good at making it. The Harris side were all musical, but not us Knights.

Thanks Lee. I appreciate the comment. I definitely will let Jack and Neeta know about your comment. They live just down the block from myself and I know them well. I was at their 65th party, however, I was involved in trying to change out a leaking tap in the kitchen while the people were out in the the hall enjoying. Still I did get the opportunity to go out and wish them both the best. Great people for sure

I enjoy reading your blog! My dad Nat Mason was the CNR agent in Hanley from July 1941 to Dec 1945. Two of my brothers Glen and Lynn and I were visiting there July 5th 2011. I have a nice photo of Neeta and Jack as well as the famous tree by the station which I would be happy to share if I could figure out how. On second thought I think that’s the time of the Scotties final game, isn’t it? I wouldn’t want to miss that, so maybe I’ll stay home.
